this tree snake decided he wanted to get in the roof (warm up there)
I was pretty sure he wouldn't manage,
then he did this! :oo::2tsup: (and yes the wall is vertical)

Don't think I've ever seen a tree snake that long. It's the scales, like having lots of finger nails to hang on with.
Never seen a snake do that before. Good to be able to get pics, otherwise no one would believe you!
I rescued a brown once, in a laundry. I watched him come up from under the washing machine, around the bowl and onto a water pipe that ran along the wall. He went along the pipe, then fell onto the floor. At that stage, I just put the bag in front of him and in he went. Easiest catch ever.
Did you have trouble holding the camera while you hit it with the shovel, i notice there is no photo of that:oo::D:D
Just remember that what has gone up - at some stage - is going to come down - probably at the most inopportune moment while you have both hands full and balancing on one foot as you glue up something really important.
The result is going to be ugly for someone/thing.
Amazing, I guess being a tree snake, he was a bit more flexible than others and the rough bagging finish helped him along.
I saw a small brown in my front yard the other day and left him to go his own way. Today I was down the shed and I heard something scratching in the corner, I thought it may have been rats again given the wet weather, but on looking saw a moving sheaded snake skin. The snake was actually shedding his skin behind my shaddow board :o. Not sure of what type, he was behind the board, but I have seen browns and blacks around in the past (either way not good :-).
I'm not scared of snakes, but having what could be a dangerous snake in the shed through winter doesn't exactly appeal to me :no:. Hopefully with the forecast fine weather for the next few days, he will find his own way out the same way he found his way in :v:
I checked behind my shadowboard tonight and the snake was no-where to be seen, but he had left behind the skin, 2" dia :oo:. I can see the markings on the shed skin, I'm pretty sure it is just a python, so he can come back anytime he wants :U
