Stairwell expansion joints in Gyprock

I have been building a house over the last couple of years and am up to the Gyprock stage.
I know I need to use expansion joints in the stairwell due to the construction type.
Basically I have a 2 story construction. Floor joists are sitting on lower wall frames. The upper wall frames continue up to the roof where there are clearstory windows.
Just want ask if I have the expansion joints in the right places and if the upper expansion joint is overkill? Thanks.
