One for the sparkies, RCD (orange box)

I have a Clipsal Portable Bodyguard IP33 RCD (orange box as its faithfully known) and have had it for a number of years now.
I went to use it today and as I do each time I use it I tested the safety trip but nothing happened! Tried a different GPO same again. Waved the Fluke voltpen over the GPO, got power but the trip didnt work still.
All four outlets on the box still work but the safety still wont trip when the test button is pressed.
My question is, what would cause this and it it serviceable and worth fixing?
In the meantime Ive borrowed one off my father in law, and it does work!
