rot joist

Hi All, I have a joist that has started to rot at the point where they rest on the foundation.As below picture. I am going to replace it.
Now I have two questions:
1. If I replace it by myself, what wood I need to buy, where can I buy? how can i do?
2. If I hire someone to do this, who can I ask? builder or revovation man or someone? how much about the labour?
There's not a lot of ground clearance there.
Appreciate any idea.
