Roof Pitch Question

Ok I have a building which is 7.5m wide with an overhang on each end of 700mm (eave overhang)

And also measured from the eave up to the ridge and its a rise of 1.5m to the ridge.

Roof Pitch is the rise divided by the run (half the span)

My question is do the eaves get included in the run or is it to the top plate only?
