thoughts on Island benches

I having to put some thought into an island bench for the kitchen, I have some visions on either having a sink/ dishwasher on it or build the stove/ cooktop into it (with a range hood over the top). Also use as a brekky bar. its going to be long or wide most likely with an angle bench top to get more room.

I dont know if its possible but I would love a open grill or "indoor bbq plate" as part of the stove, is this possible?

The front of the bench area I would use mini orb with stainless trim/ kickboards.
