Test for Legit Sparkies

Hi all! I've been talking to a few blokes, even some that have recently completed their capstone, and not one of them are 100% on cable selection in regard to maximum demand, derating, vdrop, fault loop.

When you guys select the materials for a complete situation, what are your methods?

Here's an example:


6kA (Authority)---50m underground----MSB----30m underground----Submain

Load to be connected to submain
10 DGPO's
12 x 36W Fluoro's
2 x 1000w outside lights
2400W HWS
3.3kw 3 ph lathe
