I'm reitred -
The majority of the stuff I've done with wood has been structural or farm related.
I bought a cheap lathe - but also bought a Vicmarc chuck & a good starter set of chisels.
Over the years i've made a point of keeping (or as the better half says: "hoarding") interesting bits of timber.
A few projects have passed undewr the bridge & it's now time to get turning - and I discovered this forum!!l
Welcome aboard......sounds like you've got an interesting "stash" of timber bits.

I'll bet you have an interesting stash of bits and pieces, considering your background. Now all you need to do is turn your large stash into a small stash.:D
