Plaster over steel beam and columns

Hi Guys

im just about to remove a wall and replace with 65x65 SHS steel columns and a 150PFC. the existing wall is hardwood 75mm stud.

the question is how do you plaster over the beam and the columns? the steel will be quite thick and make drilling or self tapping prohibitive.

if you had a steel beam hanging down from your ceiling, how would you plaster it?
