Insulating exposed cold and hotwater pipes ...

Hej!

Here in Sweden they do all sorts of weird things like leaving the pipes in the bathroom exposed instead of tucking them away behind the tiles. Thus, the hotwater pipe drips water after a shower.

I was hoping to insulate them somehow and my thought was to glue 2-3mm wall thickness cork tubing [if such a thing exists] around the 15mm diameter pipes. I will then undercoat and topcoat the cork. I thought this would provide a degree of insulation to the pipes to stop water condensing on them

As far as I can tell, my only other option is to use the 15mm wall thickness foam and stick a box section conduit over the top [not what I want to do but heck if I have to I will].

Any help or ideas are most welcome. I will post photos of the project.
