Steel Post replacement

I recently bought an old qlder that needs a fair bit of work. While clearing out some built in areas downstairs I noticed a couple of the beams have started to rust towards the bottom.

How bad does this look? How thick are these posts?

If these need to be replaced ASAP what do you reckon I would be up for.
