Glass Splashback questions

Hi all, had new glass splashbacks installed yesterday, i have noticed that on certain angles i can see the dolops of glue showing through, is this normal?

They didnt no gap/seal the ends of the glass so it could be some light getting behind the glass....

The glass is a light metalic bronze color, if that makes a difference.

I have the glass splashback guys coming back to take a look but i am not sure what is normal...
