SWMBO comeback

I woke wife this morning and thought she would get out of bed and assist with kids, but, like some women, she just wanted to stay in bed. So I, in my usual style say
"I think your great grandmother must have slept with a three toed sloth"
To which she promptly replied "Well, seems I've got something in common with her then"

My wife once told me that I couldn't say anything nice or positive about her or her family. So I told her her mother-in-law was nicer than mine.
