brick venner different window heights

I have 2 windows different heights in a brick veneer wall and would like to either raise one or lower one. There is another storey above the windows . One is 2.1 highx 2.7 wide the other is 2.1 high x 1.5 wide. There is about 550 mm between them and the smaller one is 300mm lower. Which would be better as I don't want to end up with a wall cracking down the track. Has anyone had any luck with a job like this.
