G'day mates from a foriegner in the US
:usa3: I have been carving for just a little while. I carve just about anything and prefer to make my tools if possible. I carve walking sticks but not like most you see in some stores where just the top 6 or 8" is carved but the complete stick. I also carve Kachina dolls and have been told by a freind of mine who is Navajo and Zuni I carve them like a master. I'm married to my soul mate for 26 years, I have 26 Grandkids and one great grand daughter. I have a great interest in Japanese woodworking tools and making them. I think probably one of the most beautiful things that always makes me happy is a piece or a slab of wood shows the detail of the wood without it being planed or finished freshly cut. YOU KNOW what ever you make out of it is going to be absolutely beautiful.
Sorry It took So long to get back to my new friends
Sorry it took so long to get back with you but I can't as of yet find any pics. My computer has crashed several times and I have 100's of disks to go thru. I'll post some pictures as soon as I find some.
