Barge Board

Hello all,

I need some advice!

I have a 30 year old home that has three roof gables.
I need to replace the barge board on all three.

Just wanting to know what timber should I use for that job?
Obviously I only want to this job once in 20 years or so, so I would like to get some timber that will last as long as possible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :U
