Feast Watson Stains

Hi All,

Im currently building my deck out the back with a pergola over it.

We have 2 big Cypress posts (200mm x 200mm x 3600mm) that I would like to stain - both are untreated.

The problem I have is the stain I want to use is Feast Watson Black Japan - Interior stain

Is it possible to mix this with Feast Watson Fungishield, apply it to the posts and than apply an exterior based clear coat to lock in the colour?

If not, does anyone know of any other external staining products that will give me the same 'Japanese' look?
