Beware doctors!

(A) The number of physicians in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttps://www.woodworkforums.com/ /><st...ry-region alt=</st1:country-region>U.S. is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is therefore 0.171.

Now think about this:

(A) The number of gun owners in the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><ST1:pU.S.</ST1:p</st1:country-region> is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million!)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) is 1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is therefore .000188.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners!

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people; doctors do.'

Fact: not everyone has a gun (well perhaps with the exception of Septics), but almost everyone has at least one doctor.

Please alert your friends and family to this alarming threat. We must act to ban doctors before this potential genocide wipes us out!

IIRC, Brisbane was once ridiculed for being too showy, with the nickname Brisvegas (from Las Vegas NV USA). Now Brisvegans wear the badge proudly.:p
