Using a ROS for jointing?

G'day

I do a fair bit of plastering around the house and was wondering if it's possible to use my ROS on a low setting with fine paper to sand down the joints.

My shoulders are fairly messed up and I find sanding ceilings with a float tends to hurt them for days afterwards.

Anyone ever tried this?
