Ground Cover for play area - 18 sqm

Hi

I have about 18 sq meter area in my house where we will have a swing and a slide , a lot of it will be in shade so cant grow grass, synthetic turf will cost me 600 bucks and dont want to spend that much.

What can i i use their that will be a little bit soft and inexpensive, presentation is not an issue
