No I don't know anything but are you willing to part with some of your hoard?
fiddleback of some sort sigidi what species and where from ?
Looks nice... did a google search for my own interest and found a lot of hits on Tiger Woods:doh:. Tigerwood only gave one hit before going back to Tiger Woods. Looks like it could be one of the Casuarina's (or Banksia/Hakea...)
what dose the tree look like?
Don't have much more, other than the pics...
Cut pretty easy and planed easy, weighed a few sticks and it's around 25-27kg for a 3.0 100x75. Ran the router over them to aris the corners and no splintering issues??
Anyone else got some info?
Is there a joke here somewhere, because I'm not getting it :?
Grumpy, I was hoping this would last a bit longer, but I suppose all things have to come to an end...
Mongrell was spot on, it's not tigerwood, I made the name up after seeing how pretty it looked, it's just Tallowwood with fiddleback admittedly really nice fiddleback. Really makes dressing the posts worthwhile
What was the point of all that? Should have gone to the drivel area if you ask me!
geese sorry mate, was chucked here by moderators???
