Engineering - roof / truss attachment

*Thankfully we have a forum where some knowledgeable people may be kind enough to assist with an engineering problem . Hopefully the attached photos / drawing will provide a better indication of the problem then my description can . The requirement is for fixing roofing as cover to an upper 2400 wide deck via a "receiver channel " / structural facia [ steel ] , or timber ledger , connected to existing Z-100 steel trusses . Initially that was to be from existing eaves [ reinforced ]...
