bathroom tiling questions

We are trying to make up our mind whether to tile to 2metres or take it all the way up to the ceiling (3 metres). The bathroom is small and narrow. If anyone has tiled right up to the top of a high ceiling, please let me know if you were happy with the effect. Also, I have seen some pebble mesh tile sheets which look interesting for the floor. Has anyone used these? Many thanks Julie
