Baltic, price & softness

Hi everyne, we have managed to source 150x22 Baltic recycled boards for $8 per lineal meter. Is this a good price?

Further, Baltic is realllllly soft yes? Our upstairs appears to be baltic so we wanted to match but is baltic really a suitable material for floor boards if they are so soft?
