treating TP joists

G'day,

I understand TP is pressure treated, so the treatment will not penetrate completely through the wood. Therefore, I assume when I cut the joists to length I should be treating the cut ends.

Can anyone tell me what is the best/most effective treatment.

Secondly, should I treat (oil) the undersides of Ironwood decking prior to laying?
