stumps/floor question

We are getting the house restumped soon, but i wanted to get some opinions first! There are certain sections of the house that when a heavy footed person walks past, the floor creates a 'wobble effect'. For instance if someone is sitting on the couch, you can feel the slight wobble through the couch. Is this a stump issue... i dont want to get the stumps done and realise that that issue is actually caused by something else!! We have slopey falls, packed up stumps - but no sticking windows or doors.
