It's never too late to learn something new

This novice joins a monastery and is put to work with a group of older monks copying manuscripts. He notices however, that they are copying copies. This bothers him and he approaches the abbott to voice his concerns.
"Brother Abbott, I noticed that we are copying copies, what if someone made a mistake a while ago, won't we just be copying those mistakes?"
"oh my young brother, we are very careful and everything is checked and double checked, however, since you have brought it up I will go down to our archives in the cellars and double check the latest manuscripts with the very earliest ones."
The abbott heads of to the cellars and is still missing at dinner that night. The other monks go down to the cellars to search for him. They fInd him weeping in front of an open ancient manuscript, when they ask him what is wrong he replies,
"The word was !"CELEBRATE, CELEBRATE "
