Hello!
I am a woodworker from the USA. Looking forward to see how woodworking is done down-under. I love tools as much as woodworking. Interested to see what brands of tools are used in Australia vs the USA.

Welcome aboard, DJL. This is the best there is.
The biggest difference you'll probably see is with power tools. Most of Oosa (USA) is 60Hz, 110v; Oz (AUS) is usually 50Hz, 220v. Some of the tools are identical, e.g. MC900 wood lathe has a minimum speed of 500 rpm, whereas Harbor Freight 34706 is 600 rpm; same-o same-o except for the paint colour AFICT. Note the weird spelling. Bookmark an Australian slang dictionary, and get accustomed to the metric religious wars.:D
Cheers,
Joe
