:ranton: Last night the Surf Live Saving Club that I am a member of was broken into. The criminals had to kick in a solid bolted door, then stole an Oxy Viva (Mechanical Resuscitator). This was found early this morning by an ex member who took it to another member's house.

So, our security is compromised, Vital resus gear is at least suspect, we will have to send it to be checked and for what Some little so and so's bit of fun.
Lucky no one was down there last night. :rantoff:

Really, really sick when the cost of repair exceeds the value of stolen goods by a large proportion. No real numbers at hand, but consider a plate glass window vs. a keg or two of beer. Or a car's side window vs. a few CD's. When I drove a convertible, I deliberately never locked it.

Bad timing too with the State IRB Championships there on the 12th & 13th July.
