Today Tonight - Channel 7

Hi,

I generally don't watch the likes of ACA and the above mentioned program. However, whilst doing the ironing tonight I thought I needed some light entertainment after a long day at work:wink:. Well they had a couple of interesting items on. One about saving big bucks/$$$ on your various insurance policies and the other about plastic surgery in (KL) Kuala Lumpur.

Which leds me to ask, does anyone here know anyone who has been there for plastic surgery procedures? For many it has saved them many hundreds (and even thousands in some cases) of $$$'s and been very happy with the final product. But there have also been a few mishaps (bodgy) operators who have caused much pain and suffering.

When I worked in San Diego, a guy I worked with had a decent enough Mustang that he'd just put a recon donk into but the duco was a bit faded and what it needed was a new coat of paint. Via a mate's mate he hear about $99 car re-spray service, across the border in Tijuana - drop off at Juan's place in south San Diego on sunday night - pick up next Friday night (had to be picked up at night ) - story was Juan's brother was able to do cashies at his work in Tijuana.

Paint job was so-so, but for $99 he was not too worried. Problem was a couple of days later he noticed the car was running a bit rough and took it in for a tune up - yep you have guessed it by now - different donk. Went back to see Juan and no one had ever heard of him.
