Why 300 seconds between pm's its a pain especially when you get a few pm's and want to reply to each and get back to the forum.
I know that at one stage it was being abused.

There's a time delay to stop those that would abuse the pm and email system from doing so. This helps keep the system relatively spam free for our members.
Yes, I know it's a pain in the but, however it's a hell of a lot better than being inundated with heaps of spam from some of the lowlifes that try to send multiple emails and pm's to forum members. Thanks to this system they usually only send maybe 3 or 4 and give up in disgust.

PS in the last week we've deleted and banned 13 people who would have abused the system if given the opportunity with everything from phone and insurance spam to religious propaganda and other unsavoury stuff.
Most come here to play........ A handful come here to keep the playground safe.
:no: The message I get for sending or replying To 2 PM's in a short time frame one after the other is 300 seconds this as been happening for some months but hadn't bothered me as I don't use Pm's that much only when I need to.
Only sent a few e-mails through the forum so didn't know there was a restriction there.
