Why John started Woodworking

To celebrate their wedding anniversary John took his lovely bride for a game of golf at the Munruben Golf Course.

They were having a great game and when they got to the 5th Tee John tee'd off first and his ball went straight down the middle of the fairway. His lovely wife then tee'd off and her ball sliced right over the fence and into the paddock where Barry's cows were grazing.

They walked off to find the errant golf ball and when they got to about the right distance John jumped the fence and then helped his lovely bride over the fence he was walking around looking for the golf ball when he spotted a white spot near one of the cows tails. He walked over lifted the tail and turned to his wife, "this looks like yours dear".

When he finaly removed the golf clubs from around his neck he decided that working with saws, routers, lathes and other woodworking machinery was much safer than golf.
