PC and OG

Prince Charles was visiting a shipyard in the UK.
As usual he chats to the workers while doing the tour.
HE stops beside an old shipwright and asks " How long have you worked here then "
The old guy says "44 years Sir "
PC says " you would have seen a lot of changes in that time then "
OG says "yes Sir especially in the labour force "
PC " So how many people work here "
OG "oh about half of them "

...So Charles says "Have you worked here all your life, then?"

"Not yet" says the old bloke.
