Seratone splashback

Hi everyone

Im at the end of a bathroom and kitchen reno and was looking for a cheap alternative to a glass splashback with a similar look. There a few coated hardboard products now offering
glass like finishes, Seratone being one of these.

Has anyone installed and used this product as a kitchen splashback?
I wanted to know the ease of installation?, heat and moisture resistance?- is it suitable behind a gas cooktop.

no but thats up to you ,i have used man made splashbacks before with very poor results
