trusses, battens and bracing

hi,
trusses are finally up :) I now need to place battens (90x45) and steel bracing (curved NOT flat). I am not sure of the order these should go on. steel bracing first and then battens? If so what do i do where the batten intersects with the curved bracing? Is it ok to flatten the steel bracing at this point or do the battens need to be cut/checked? Appreciate any advice. After the bracing/batten arrangement has been secured, will put a layer of sissilation. Seems to be two varieties, breathable and non. Which is used where and why.

Greg,
battens first and then just flatten bracing over it. Do not cut the bracing in under any circumstances as it will weaken the battens. I wasn't aware that there was any sisalation that wasn't breathable and have always used the vapour permeable stuff.

Just wondering if it is critical that the battens go first before the bracing since on my current pergola project ive already put the bracing on, and was gonna put the battens on the weekend. I think i should be able to flatten the areas of the bracing underneath the batten to accomadate it.

it should be fine, just easier to batten first.
