The pig breeder

It is not generally known, but before 'Allan of Wallan' took up his postal pursuits, he was a farmer and breeder of pigs.

One day he had a visit from a sweet young thing from the city who he was trying to impress and he showed her around the farm. When they got to the pigstys they were suddenly confronted by a boar engaged in sexual congress with one of the sows. The boar had a ring in his nose.

The girl asked why the boar had a ring in his nose and Allan replied, "That's to stop him rooting."

The girl replied, "It's not working."

Good one Barry, now I know why my missus was keen to get MY nose pierced.:D
