Removal of cross bracing under high set house

Hi Guys

great little forum here...
I have a question, I have a high set house on duragal stumps. Id like to frame up and build in downstairs. However i have steel cross bracing between several of the duragal stumps. Id need to get rid of those in order to install wall frames. If i remove them how should i brace my new timber frames,?? Can i use ply bracing or strap type bracing ??? woudl they be a suitable replacement ???

Also how should i attach the bottom plate to the floor ?? are dyna bolts enough being that they wont be load bearing walls ??

For definitive answers to your questions you must see an engineer. He'll specify bracing type(s), quantities, placement and fixing. Dynabolts would be suitable but the engineer will need to specify type, size and spacing because although your walls won't be load bearing they will be bracing walls.
