Can anybody tell me what flocking powder is like,is it the best way to get a good felt finish.
This stuff is the bees knees! Done properly it comes up absolutly beautiful! Might be a lot more work compared to just cutting & gluing some cheap felt, but the difference is amazing.
I would be interested to hear how well the stuff sticks and how durable it is.
Doorstop. flocking powder check you don't have the OU virous. substites U for O when following F.
I had a play with a system many years ago which used a small electrical charge to make the flocking stand up on end while the glue set. This resulted in a more even job.
It was all a bit messy and I did't follow it up.

Some days I turns thisaway, somedays I turns thataway and other days I don't turn at all.
Had my first play with Flocking Powder today and found it easy to use. The main thing is to put enough glue onto the peice you are doing and drown it in the powder and shake of the excess that does not stick . You have to be carefull on the application of the glue because where you put the glue is where the powder will go. It gives a clean finish and looks smarter than the felt with sticky back as there is no join lines.
