microwave stand problem

My missus wants to raise the microwave to increase bench space in our small kitchen - see pic below. But because of how it is angled, a normal microwave wall mount cannot work. I was thinking of using a wall mounted TV stand that can swivel like the pic below. I am not familiar with the TV stands and I need the swivel to lock into place at the correct angle. My concern is that the TV mount swivel will not be able to be locked into place which will cause the microwave to move when opening/closing the door.

Can anyone suggest a brand of TV stand with a lockable swivel or an other suggestion to raise the microwave?

NB it's only a small 17L microwave so weight will not be a problem

If you just want to raise it from where it is why not put a corner shelf in. A couple of cleats screwed to the wall with a shelf on top would do the trick. A small piece of trim along the front and you would be in business. The cleats need not be big given the load (Say 12x 6 mm). With a TV mount you will lose space underneath for the mechanism. Drilling into tiles is pretty simple. You can get a special bit at Bunnings, magnet mart or Mitre 10. It will be a lot cheaper than buying a TV Mount.

Why not glue the swivel mechanism into position. Superglue etc

Why not hang a triangular shelf from the bottom of the upper cabinet?

For hangers you could use cup-hooks and lengths of chain, or lengths of endless thread slipped through tubes...

You could either glue the cleat to the glass - think aquarium silicone.

Or maybe design it with a leg and cleat on each side, one side is fixed to the wall, the other is just supported by the leg. The leg on the supporting wall is basically just for show, as is the cleat on the glass wall.

I am pretty sure you could glue a glass cleat to the glass with wellbond (I think it is) - a glue that glues impervious bits together.

why not just make a bread box and sit the microwave on that you get storage and a microwave table
