Marriage proposal

My wife and I have been married 46 years today.

It seems a long time ago I met her at a dance and we
had three dances together. In those days I was
a very bashful young chap.

I asked her to marry me as I couldn't think of
anything else to say.

Yeah, I was married once, but only for a little while. It couldn't last because I tricked her into it. I told her she was pregnant.
