Long time reader; first time poster.
We've just laid baltic pine boards with a satin finish. After a couple of weeks, various greyish lines and patches have emerged in the timber. Perhaps 10 streaks on various boards, all an inch wide and 5-10 inches long.
Is this something to worry about? We like the rustic look, but I don't need structural problems.
Thanks for all the other advice and help I've picked up through anonymous reading.
