How to fix squeaky floor boards ?

I’ve just completed a major house renovation. We have some old floor boards, tas oak, which squeak. I’ve tried nailing and using decking screws. I think there just may be a small cap between the floor boards and the flooring joists. Is it possible to drill say 10 mm holes in the flooring boards and fill the gaps with some filler which will harden and glue the floor boards to the joists?
Mate if you go to the search option then advanced search , in the forums list under home renovations go to flooring decking stumps etc and in the key words type squeaky as there have been a few discussions on this subject before
My advice to stop the noise is to put baby powder into the grooves , brush it well in as the silica part of the powder can lubricate the boards as they move and stop the noise :2tsup:

Thanks. The is too little room to go under the house to check the floor boards.

same problem with our place - man, I would insulate under our place if it wasn't 14 inches of the ground!.... one of the difficulties is locating the real source of the noise. ... anyway, to your suggested solution: You can use a two-pack epoxy resin I guess .... just not sure how easily it will flow in your situation. You could also carefully remove a board or two and check the sub-floor condition, usually from a spot that is under furniture or a rug. It just seems that if the other things you're tried haven't worked, then the squeak may be lower than the floor. Sorry I can't be of more help and that FTG is so far from me, otherwise I woulda come over and had a look with you.
