QLD, VIC, Tas and a genie

There are a Queenslander, a Victorian and a Tasmanian walking down the beach, discussing sport, religion and politics and scuffing their feet in the sand.

One of them kicks something and they all stop to see what it is. Blimey an old brass lamp! They wonder if its worth anything so they are all brushing the sand off when theres a whoosh of smoke, a flash of light and a peal of thunder and out comes the obligatory genie.

The genie looks down at them and sees three guys holding the lamp... Who to give the wishes too? Okay, you get one each.
He turns to the Tasmanian and says what do you want? "Geez, mate I come from heaven so thats a tough one. Ask the other guys and maybe I'll think of something".

So the Genie turns to the Mexican. Now, he's from Footasgray and he says "Mite, I alwaysa wanted my owna fishenchippa shop, roit inna middle offa footasgray".

Theres a clap of thunder and the Genie says "its yours".

Next the genie turns to the Queenslander who says, "Mate, us queenslanders are sick and tired of everyone else in the country telling us whats wrong with the place and what we should be doing instead then over-running us every tourist season! I want to keep God's own country for us banana benders. Build a wall around it, ten k's high, right around the border and out round the Barier reef. Nothing in, nothing out!"

There's a clap of thunder and the Genie says "it's done".

Sudenly the Tasmanian smiles and says "That wall, nothing in nothing out eh?"

The Genie nods.

Tassie says "ten K's high eh?"

The genie nods again, and Tassie says "great, fill it with water!"
