finish

I am about to lacquer a table, which will be undercover on a verandah, but will get some sun and rain. The table is Oregon and has been stained. I am about to lacquer it with Wattyly Marine varnish.

My question is, as I do not like the high gloss finish, is there some other finish for outside that is durable and similar to a semi gloss in appearance.

or if not is there some way I may be able to take off the gloss from the Marine varnish. Thanks for your time.:)

Try Intergrain DWD or Ultraclear.

What about satin marine varnish?
