Quality Building Designer or Drafty in Perth

Hi All,

I am toying with the idea of extending my B&T 1940's Californian Bungalow in Bayswater, Perth.

The project would involve knocking down a timber/asbestos sleepout (something I can do) and creating a large (approx 8m2) dining / lounge room in brick and tieing in to the existing brick walls on either side of the house.

After browsing these forums I have realised that my first port of call is 'building designer' or 'good drafty' rather than an Architect.

I would be most appreciative if someone could point me in the right direction or provide me with the name of either of the above. Its not a huge job so I would rather deal with someone who has experience in small to medium jobs with a similar style/age of house. Googling has only returned mainly larger firms who take on more extensive projects.
