Cleaning Stained Grout

I have a straw-coloured grout on floor tiles in kitchen,bathroom,toilet & laundry areas that have become stained in some places.What or how is the best way to clean stained grouting?

I think you can get special grout cleaners but generally I think its just elbow grease and a lot of scrubbing. Otherwise , scrape and refill. Once clean apply a clear sealer to help reduce the build up in the future.
