IMG limits?

I just tried to post a reply to a msg, complete with quote when I copped this requestor... :oo:

So, if what I'm quoting already contains 7 (or more!) smilies, I'm not permitted to UL a pic or add a smiley of my own? Unless I edit the quote to remove smilies, even if that subtly changes context?

As there's already an attachment limit of 5 items per post, I gather this is to limit the use of smilies to between 2-7 per post? :? (Depends on # of attachments, of course.)

Now I feel like an Italian with no hands. :(:rolleyes::p

(Or is someone just having a play in the background?)

There's a worldwide smilie shortage, all the forums have had to cut back...

Just prune the smilies out of the quote, that's what I do. I don't know why the admins have imposed the limit, they move in mysterious ways... (especially , have you seen the sharpening video :oo: )
