What are you trying to do? You could poke a nail through plaster? Maybe you mean a hole saw for lights etc.?
I think we are talking cordless drill for screwing sheets.
Hi Myla, when my wife and I did our house, we went out and bought a screw gun
Cant remember the brand name, but costs around $400.00 from memory
They are great if doing a fair bit of plaster

You need a high speed screwgun with a depth setting nosecone. These are specifically made for fixing gyprock. Makita, and Hilti both make excellent models and makits have a few models, bith corded and cordless that have a strip magazine screw feed. There's probably more brands out there but this is what I used to see being used by all the gyprockers.

Yeah yeah ... pick the fool!
Myla, GMC do a corded screwgun for plaster (search drywall gun), currently $49 at bunnings, has variable speed and the depth setting nosecone.
For the price I'd give one of them a go, if you don't get the job done within the 2 year warranty there's something wrong. :D
On the other hand, if you plan to do more plastering long term it may be worthwhile investing in a much better quality tool (obviously for a lot more $ )

There are these ones on e-bay

I've got the GMC one. Not good for roofing but good for plasterboard. The cord is a hassle so you probably need a regular cordless screwdriver as well.
