Restoring baltic pine floor after borer

Hi all, hope someone will be able to help us. We have had our 77 year old blatic pine floor sanded and surfaced. The process revealed borer attack. The usual tracks, the floor appears sound otherwise and the extent of the damage is not such that I want to replace boards. After 3 coats of 2 pack there are areas that are still a bit rough due to the surface soaking up the coating. I would like to resurface or fill some areas to make them smoother (I am not looking for a perfect surface but do not want cat fur and dust to catch in the rough bits). Any ideas? Is there a clear filler that I can apply? Should I get one or more coats done? Any and all idas welcome.

I am going to have the same problem with my hoop pine floor boards what are 93 years old.

What about a self leveling epoxy? If put down as the first coast I should fill the borer holes, then sand back leaving surface of the timber floor exposed, then paint?
