mistral mss10 full auto mode question

got the unit up and running (all functions works, nice and cold)

the question i have is when the unit is in full auto mode, the up and down temperature buttons allow a "up" and "down" arrown to flash once only either way.

what does the temperature buttons do in full auto mode?

if the unit has been running in auto mode for say half hour with the thermostat kicking in out out regulating temp in the room to around 22-23

if i push the up temp (one flash of the "up" symbol on the remote) the air con will cut the thermostat untill the room temp goes back up to the "auto preset temp"

hope this makes sense? someone with a mss10 unit try it out

put in auto mode (temp and fan) wait half hour then press the temp up one click, see if the unit cuts out for a while....
